Patrick Sterba

Patrick Sterba represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including claims involving harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes. He advocates on behalf of employers in both state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies.

Prior to joining the firm, Pat was an associate at a San Diego based firm where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of employment litigation, property disputes, and probate matters. During law school, he gained experience in insurance litigation and assisted with disclosure memoranda for 1031 property exchanges.

Pat was an active member of the Business Law Society and served as a Student Bar Association mentor. Outside of his legal work, Pat has a deep passion for the ocean. In high school, he founded Military Beach Day, a charity that provided Marines with a day of surfing, including lessons and all necessary gear for a perfect beach day. He continued sharing his love for the ocean through college by teaching surf lessons to visitors from around the world in O’ahu, Hawai’i.

Pat is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
